Holidayscape is a holiday letting business that provides self catering accommodation to holidaymakers, and manages properties on behalf of homeowners. Holidayscape was established over 30 years ago and the current owners, Tom and Eleanor Prinsloo, have been managing the business since 2003.

Where do we provide self catering accommodation?

In Kleinmond, Betty’s Bay, Pringle Bay and Rooi Els. These are four coastal villages situated along the Whale Coast in the Overberg area of the Western Cape in South Africa. Along a stunningly, scenic drive, about one hour from Cape Town and 25 minutes from Hermanus. Click on the MAP link in the menu to view where these towns are located.

What makes this part of South Africa so special?

The area is renowned for its unique flora (Fynbos, including 92% of South Africa’s protea species), rich bird life (over 160 species), whales – especially Southern Right whales between May to October. Lovely beaches, the sea and mountains, hiking trails, adventure sports, the Harold Porter Botanical Garden and Stony Point Penguin Colony in Betty’s Bay, the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, Arabella Estate golf course, or just simply a place to relax, read, eat and sleep!

What type of self catering accommodation is on offer?

A large selection – from cosy apartments for two persons, to cottages and luxury homes that can accommodate up to 10 guests. All units are equipped with normal appliances such as stove fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Almost all have TV’s and some have satellite TV connections. All beds have uncovered pillows and duvets – guests may choose to bring their own bed linen and towels, or it can be provided at an additional fee. Certain homes are also pet-friendly. What are the minimum booking periods?

During the popular and busy December/January peak season bookings are normally 14 nights minimum. For the out of season and mid-season periods bookings are between two and five nights minimum. Reservations need to be done well in advance to avoid disappointment – at least 7 days in advance out of season and 3 to 6 months before the December/January peak season. Kindly note that we don’t accept one-night bookings.

How do I enquire or make a booking?

You may use any of the following methods:

  • Click on HOLIDAY HOMES to view pages of various homes individually, make your selection, complete the BOOKING REQUEST form and submit; OR
  • Click on the BOOKING REQUEST menu link, complete and submit, so that we can make a selection of available homes for you to choose from; OR
  • E-mail us at info@holidayscape.co.za and provide your name, contact number, the dates you require (arrival and departure dates), and number of persons (including children); OR
