100 Beach Road (Kusweg) is a double storey holiday home situated on the seafront in Kleinmond. The open plan lounge and dining room and two of three bedrooms have uninterrupted sea and mountain views. Less than one minute walk to the rocky seashore in front of the house and 10 minutes’ walk to the main beach and lagoon. The adjoining kitchen has a 4-plate gas stove/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. The house has a separate TV room with comfortable seating, and a large TV with Netflix and DStv (streaming) available. Wi-Fi is also included.
The house can accommodate up to 6 persons in three bedrooms – 1 king-size, 1 queen-size and 1 double bed. All with bed linen and bathroom towels included. The main bedroom upstairs with king-size bed, has a magnificent sea view, en suite shower, toilet and hand basin. The second bedroom downstairs, also with sea view, has a double bed and the the third bedroom, overlooking the large, private backyard, a queen-size bed. These two bedrooms have a shared bathroom with bath, shower, hand basin and separate toilet. The third bathroom is in the outside building with a shower, hand basin and toilet. The spacious backyard is fully enclosed, offering safe off-street parking and a covered braai area with garden furniture and a kettle braai (remember to bring your own charcoal briquettes and firelighters).
100 Beach Road is just simply a place to relax, enjoy the sea view, read, eat and sleep. No smoking inside the house and no pets, please. Bookings during the December/January school holidays are 7 nights minimum and the rest of the year a minimum of 2 nights. A washing machine can be made available for bookings of 7 nights and longer.
The Kleinmond area is renowned for its unique flora (Fynbos, including 92% of South Africa’s protea species), rich bird life (over 160 species), Southern Right whales between May to October. Lovely beaches, the sea and mountains, hiking trails, adventure sports, the Harold Porter Botanical Garden and Stony Point Penguin Colony in neighbouring Betty’s Bay, the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, the wild horses at Rooisand, Arabella Estate golf course and nearby wine farms. Less than 90 minutes from Cape Town and only 30 km to Hermanus.
