Fittingly named “Nie-Te-Ver” confirms that the house is conveniently located not too far from any place where you want or need to be in or near Kleinmond. The double storey house is situated only three street blocks from the rocky seashore and less than 5 minutes’ drive to the shops, restaurants, harbour and both the Kleinmond and Palmiet beaches and lagoons.
This charming and tastefully furnished family home, with lovely garden, can comfortably accommodate six persons in three bedrooms with three bathrooms, two lounges, built-in braai/fireplace, open plan dining room and kitchen.
The kitchen, with adjoining scullery, is fully equipped with a 4-plate gas stove and electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, dishwasher and washing machine.
The upstairs lounge with comfortable seating and balcony with mountain views and distant sea view, has a large screen TV with Netflix and limited DStv channels. Free Wi-Fi is included.
All the bedrooms are located downstairs with bed linen and bathroom towels included. Main bedroom with queen-size bed and en-suite shower and toilet; Second bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower and toilet; Third bedroom with two single beds. A third bathroom across the passage has a bath and toilet.
The property is located on an enclosed stand with a high wall fence and gate. Although the garage is not available there is safe off-street parking on the property for two vehicles. No pets allowed and no smoking inside the house please.
Nie-Te-Ver is usually only available during the December school holiday period for between 7 to 10 nights minimum. A refundable breakage deposit of R1500 and a cleaning fee of R375 is applicable for all bookings. The Kleinmond area is renowned for its unique flora (Fynbos, including 92% of South Africa’s protea species), rich bird life (over 160 species), Southern Right whales between May to October. Lovely beaches, the sea and mountains, hiking trails, adventure sports, the Harold Porter Botanical Garden and Stony Point Penguin Colony in neighbouring Betty’s Bay, the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, the wild horses at Rooisand, Arabella Estate golf course and nearby wine farms. Or just simply a place to relax, read, eat and sleep.
