Moments is a large, up-market self catering guest house, well situated in quiet upper Kleinmond. It’s perfect for any type of retreat – an ideal getaway venue for small groups of up to twelve persons. Only a few minutes stroll from the main beach, golf course and hiking trails. The main shopping centre is also only a short drive away. Kleinmond is a great place to escape the city and offers quiet beaches and Harbour Road with interesting little shops and restaurants. There are also some lovely vineyards in the area which offer wine tasting and good food. Hermanus is only 35 km away, while the Harold Porter Botanical Garden and penguin colony at Stony Point in Betty’s Bay is less than 15 km from Kleinmond.
Moments offers six comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (shower, toilet, hand basin), TV with DSTV channels, Wi-Fi connection and bar fridge. Bed linen and bathroom towels are included. Bedrooms 2, 3, 5 and 6 have queen size beds, while rooms 1 and 4 serve as twin rooms with king size beds (2 x ¾ mattresses which can be changed to twin beds if required).
The open plan lounge and dining area features comfortable couches, a TV with DSTV and ten-seater dining table. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove/oven with extractor fan, microwave oven, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. A washing machine is also available on request. The large swimming pool with recliner chairs and umbrellas is lovely in the summer. In addition, there are two barbecue facilities to choose from. Off-street and garage parking available.
Bookings are 2 nights minimum out of season. But kindly note that bookings over the Christmas / New Year period are a minimum of 7 nights and that the whole house must then be booked with all the rooms. The owners of Moments Guesthouse occupy the top floor, but guests’ privacy is respected and guests also have their own private access and full use of all the facilities. No pets allowed and no smoking inside the house please.
